Returns & Replacements

Dispatch is the line. You can cancel a paid order yourself within 24 hours of paying, as long as it has not been dispatched yet — and the full amount is refunded. After that we do not take pieces back because you changed your mind — but if something arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, photograph it within 48 hours of delivery and we send a replacement.

No change-of-mind returns

We do not accept change-of-mind returns. If the print is not what you hoped for, or you simply do not want the piece any more, it cannot be sent back.

We would rather say that plainly here than let you find it out after the parcel arrives. Every product page carries the exact size, the fabric, the GSM or thread count and the care instructions, and every design has its own photograph. If anything is unclear, message +91 95990 95571 before you order — we will measure something, photograph something or answer a question, and we would much rather do that than turn a parcel away afterwards.

There is one window in which you can still change your mind, and it closes early: cancel the order before it is dispatched, and the money comes straight back. Once the parcel is with the courier, the rule above is the whole of it.

Printed cloth varies in shade and print register from piece to piece, and a screen shot of a print will never match a bedsheet under your own light. That variation is not a fault and it is not grounds for a return. It is described on the Terms of Service page.

Before dispatch: cancel within 24 hours, get the money back

You can cancel a paid order yourself within 24 hours of paying, as long as it has not been dispatched yet — and the full amount is refunded.

You do it yourself, on the tracking page — enter your order reference and the mobile number you ordered with, and press Cancel. There is nothing to ask us for and nothing to wait for. A cancellation refund usually takes 2–4 working days to reflect back to your original source of payment.

Dispatch closes the window early. If the courier scans the parcel an hour after you paid, the order can no longer be cancelled even though the 24 hours have not passed — it is genuinely gone. The tracking page tells you which side of that line your order is on.

Damaged, defective or wrong item: we replace it

If a piece arrives damaged, defective, or is not the item you ordered, we send you a replacement. A torn seam, a run in the dye, a zip that will not close, a blanket that arrived wet, or simply the wrong design in the bag — all of it is replaced free, and we book and pay for the courier.

The one thing you have to do is tell us quickly. Photograph the item and send the pictures within 48 hours of delivery to +91 95990 95571. Two pictures is enough: the whole item, and the problem up close.

If that exact piece is no longer available, we will send an equivalent piece of the same value, agreed with you over WhatsApp.

How a replacement works

Three steps, all of them on WhatsApp. You never book or pay a courier yourself.

  1. Message us on WhatsApp with photographs

Within 48 hours of delivery, send us the name the order was placed under, the SKU from the product page, and two photographs — one of the whole item and one close up on the damage, the fault or the wrong item. Photographs are what start a replacement; without them we cannot raise one.

  2. We book the pickup

We reply the same working day with a pickup date. Pack the piece back into the bag it arrived in, with the tags on. Pickup is free — you never pay a courier at your door, for a replacement or for anything else.

  3. We send the replacement

A new piece is dispatched as soon as the pickup is scanned. If that exact piece is no longer available, we will send an equivalent piece of the same value, agreed with you over WhatsApp. Once an order has been dispatched, money is not returned. There is no refund to a card, to UPI or to a bank account after that point, and a genuine fault is put right with a replacement piece instead.

After dispatch, money is not returned

Once an order has been dispatched, money is not returned. There is no refund to a card, to UPI or to a bank account after that point, and a genuine fault is put right with a replacement piece instead.

What a genuine problem gets on that side of the line is a piece, not a payment: we send a replacement, and if that exact piece has run out we agree an equivalent piece of the same value with you over WhatsApp. Nothing is deducted, and there is no restocking fee, no return charge and no courier to pay at your door — delivery and pickup are both free.

Bought a set — a sheet with its pillow covers, or a comforter set — and one piece of it has a fault? Message us: we replace that piece rather than break up the set.

What we cannot replace

  • A piece you have changed your mind about, whether or not it has been opened
  • A print, shade or size you hoped would be different — the details are on the product page before you order
  • Normal hand-block variation in shade, print register or weave
  • Wash damage, shrinkage or fading after use — the care guide below is the whole of it
  • Damage reported more than 48 hours after delivery, or reported without photographs
  • An order you want stopped after it has been dispatched, or more than 24 hours after payment — the cancellation window has closed by then

If you are unsure which side of that line you are on, ask before you pack anything. Message +91 95990 95571 or write to ott.shared12@gmail.com — we would rather answer a question than turn a parcel away.

Caring for what you keep

Wash damage is not a manufacturing fault, so it is worth two minutes to read the list for your fabric — and every product page carries the full care note for that specific piece.

Cotton

Bedsheets, dohars and pillow covers

Do

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent
  • Wash separately for the first two washes — hand-block dyes give a little colour at first
  • Line dry in shade, or tumble dry low
  • Warm iron on the reverse

Don’t

  • Do not bleach or use an optical brightener
  • Do not wash hot — cotton that has been pre-shrunk can still tighten
  • Do not dry in direct sun; it dulls indigo and marigold fastest
  • Do not press a hot iron onto the printed face

Fleece & sherpa

Blankets and throws

Do

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent
  • Tumble dry low, then shake the blanket out to lift the pile
  • Wash on its own so the pile does not pick up lint

Don’t

  • Do not use fabric softener — it coats the fibre and flattens the pile
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not dry on high heat; synthetic pile melts before it looks burnt
  • Do not iron the pile directly

Velvet

Cushion covers

Do

  • Dry clean for the longest life
  • Or cold hand wash alone and dry flat in shade
  • Steam from the reverse to lift a crushed pile

Don’t

  • Do not wring or twist — the crease sets into the pile
  • Do not machine wash with anything else
  • Do not press a hot iron onto the face of the velvet
